First AleSmith Reserve Series Release of 2013

Heads up! The first AleSmith Reserve Series release of the year has just been announced yesterday via newsletter from the brewery. On January 15 at 12pm PST, allocations for Barrel Aged Old Numbskull ($27.00 plus fee) and Kopi Luwak Speedway Stout ($17.00 plus fee) will be available through online sales on Brown Paper Tickets.

Limits will be set at 4 bottles per person, no duplicate orders will be allowed and everyone MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN BOTTLES with order confirmation and ID. Translation – no proxies, no mules, no fooling the system to buy more than your allotment. Any sales made to the same name will be voided.

Bottles can be picked up from January 19 – March 10 in the tasting room, beginning with a release party this Saturday from 12pm – 8pm. AleSmith will feature drafts of BA Old Numbskull (cask), 2012 Decadence, My Bloody Valentine and other surprises in limited quantities.

Commercial descriptions:

BA Old Numbskull

Barrel Aged Old Numbskull is our American Barleywine Ale matured in premium bourbon barrels for up to one year to develop it’s rich intense flavor profile.  This beer has not been released since 2010.

Kopi Luwak Speedway Stout
Kopi Luwak Speedway Stout is our award winning year round Speedway Stout with Kopi Luwak Coffee.  Considered on of the world’s most expensive and rare coffee varieties, the beans are specifically selected for their ripeness and quality by the civet, a small jungle marsupial that feeds of the fruit of the coffee cherry.  Expertly roasted by San Diego’s Ryan Bros. Cofee leads to an extremely aromatic and excetionally smooth final product that complements Speedway Stout exceptionally well!  Good to the last Dropping!

Review full details and buy allocations here starting at 12pm PST on January 15.
