Captain Lawrence Charity Beer Raffle

Quick flash of news from the crew at Captain Lawrence today! On Saturday, February 23 (tomorrow), the brewery is holding a charity raffle to benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma research, featuring special beers hand-picked from their cellar.

Ticket prices and availability weren’t made available yet, but the tasting room typically opens at noon on Saturdays. Stop in, fill a growler, enjoy a few samples and support a worthwhile charity.

Beers up for grabs:

  • Cuvee de Castleton
  • 5 Years Later
  • Smoke from the Oak
  • Barrel Select – Raspberry
  • Barrel Select – Gold

Curious note – Their Facebook post stated “these beers are retired,” despite Cuvee de Castleton traditionally being a yearly release. Smoke from the Oak has also been produced more than once with a variety of barrel treatments. This might only be referring to the vintages available at the raffle, but I’d be sad to see CdC head into official retirement (even though the brewery isn’t on Castleton anymore).

Captain Lawrence Brewing Company is located at 444 Saw Mill River Rd in Elmsford.
