Kuhnhenn March Meadness Begins!

While the dust has barely settled from Kuhnhenn’s recent eisbock releases, March Meadness is officially here, featuring a unique bottled mead every day throughout the month of March.

The brewery will release the schedule one week at a time, with complete details about each posted every morning via Facebook. If history is any indicator, expect low bottle limits (1 per person) and higher prices (around $20ish).

Week one schedule:

3/1 Espresso Mead
3/2 Pineapple Pear Pinot Grigio Pyment
3/3 Pepper Pot
3/4 Spiced Peach Icewine Pyment
3/5 Sherry Cask
3/6 Green Apple Riesling Pyment
3/7 Mocha

Espresso Mead details from the brewery:

This is our Citrus (blossom) Mead blended with Schuil Italian Roast Espresso beans. There is a lot going on here. Coffee and honey notes play off of each other in both the flavor and aromas. There is a pleasant sweetness that cleans up quickly due to the lively acidity on the finish. There is a one bottle per person/per day limit. $18
