The Lost Abbey’s mouth-puckering raspberry wild ale is back and ready to hit store shelves in California, beginning with an official release at the brewery on Saturday, April 20. For the uninitiated, Framboise de Amorosa “begins as Lost and Found ale and is sent into freshly emptied red wine barrels. The beer spends over a year in the wood during which time it is spiked with three additions of raspberries.”

The details:

  • Bottles on sale at noon at the tasting room
  • 375mL bottles are $15 each
  • Limit 4 per person
  • Limited draft available

It’s also worth noting the 2013 batch apparently will not be distributed out of the state, according to a response on their Facebook post.

The Lost Abbey and Port Brewing tasting room is located at 155 Mata Way Suite 104 in San Marcos.
