The Commons Fishing with Hallet Bottle Releases

Portland’s The Commons Brewery is set to release their next limited barrel-aged beer on June 22 and 23 at two different locations in Oregon. Brewed to commemorate 16 Tons Cafe’s third anniversary, Fishing with Hallet is a bourbon-barrel aged (2nd use Pappy Van Winkle barrels) Belgian dark strong ale with brett, coming in at 8.5% abv.

The details:

  • Saturday, June 22 3-5pm @ 16 Tons Cafe in Eugene. Fishing with Hallet bottles for sale, a complimentary toast and samplings of other bottle conditioned beers. Bier Royale, Walnut, and Widmer Collaboration X-114 will be on tap.
  • Sunday, June 23 2pm @ The Commons Brewery in Portland. Fishing with Hallet bottles for sale as well as on draft (last keg).
  • $14 per 750mL bottle

The Commons Brewery is located at 1810 SE 10th Ave, Unit E in Portland.

16 Tons Cafe is located at 2864 Willamette #500 in Eugene.
