Avery Uncle Jacob’s Stout Release July 7

uncle jacobs 2Batch 2 of Avery’s Uncle Jacob’s Stout is ready to be unleashed at the brewery, slated for Sunday, July 7. This boozy imperial stout is once again aged in first-use bourbon barrels for six months, coming in at a formidable 16.53% abv. According to the label, production is higher for the second batch, increasing to 848 cases from 694 in 2012.

The details:

  • Line party begins at 11am with tappings of limited Avery offerings and live bluegrass music
  • Bottle sales begin at 5pm
  • $12 per 12oz bottle
  • 1 case (24 bottles) limit per person

Some taplist rumors have been posted online, including Tweak, Rum-Barrel Czar, Rumpkin, Bad Apple and others but this of course isn’t official.

Avery Brewing Company is located at 5763 Arapahoe in Boulder.
