Next Up in The Commons Beetje Series: Emelie

The Commons EmelieAnother small batch brew is ready from The Commons Brewery in Portland, as Emelie is set to debut at the tasting room on Saturday, August 31 at 2pm. This pinot barrel-aged sour ale is the next installment in their Beetje Series, which pays tribute to their humble beginnings as a garage-based nano brewery. Other releases in the line have included Brotherly Love and Eidolon.

The details:

  • $12 per 750mL bottle at the brewery ONLY
  • The last keg of Emelie will be on tap
  • Braam, a one-off blackberry sour stout will also be on draft

Commercial description:

Emelie is a sour ale aged in Pinot Noir barrels with Wyeast Roeselare Blend as well as house grown cultures. Emelie spent 10 months in barrels where it developed complex acidity, complementing the soft maltiness of the base beer.

The Commons Brewery is located at 1810 SE 10th Ave, Unit E in Portland.
