Jester King Nocturn Chrysalis to Debut During Austin Beer Week

Jester King Nocturn ChrysalisThe 3rd installment in Jester King’s brewery-only sour ale series was announced yesterday, with Nocturn Chrysalis set to debut during Austin Beer Week 2013. Preceded by Atrial Rubicite (barrel-aged sour with raspberries), this will go on sale during the brewery’s 3rd annual Funk n’ Sour Fest on Sunday, October 27 alongside Omniscience & Proselytism (barrel-aged sour with strawberries).

Packaged in 500mL bottles, Nocturn Chrysalis is a barrel-aged sour red ale refermented with local Texas blackberries, coming in at 7.1% ABV. Read the full story on the Jester King blog.

Specific release info is forthcoming, and tickets for Funk n’ Sour Fest will go on sale in early October.
