Prairie-Pirate-Bomb

If you’ve been following the Prairie Artisan Ales Facebook page, you’ve already seen the tantalizing pictures of oak barrels filled with various brews from this small Oklahoma outfit. Among them is the barrel-aged varietal of Prairie Bomb, known as Pirate Bomb!

Pirate Bomb! is an imperial stout with vanilla beans, chiles, cacao nibs and coffee, then aged in rum barrels, coming in at 15% ABV. This is set to hit wholesale next week in 12 ounce bottles and will be available in Oklahoma only.

More barrel-aged beers are also expected soon, including Vanilla Noir (whiskey barrel imperial stout with vanilla beans), Coffee Noir (whiskey barrel imperial stout with coffee) and Prairie Noir (whiskey barrel imperial stout).
