The Commons Maybelle Batch 2 Release Nov. 23

The Commons MaybelleAnother experimental beer is bottled up and ready to roll out of The Commons Brewery in Portland on Saturday, November 23 – Maybelle. Despite the label advertising this as “one-off, single batch,” this will be the 2nd release of this barrel-aged farmhouse ale, with a couple tweaks to the original recipe.

The details:

  • Bottles go on sale at 2pm in the tasting room
  • $10 per 750mL bottle
  • Limit 6 per person
  • Draft pours will also be available

Commercial description:

Maybelle is a farmhouse ale aged in Adelsheim Vineyard White Wine barrels with a culture of Brettanomyces from Drie Fonteinen. The grain bill has been adjusted slightly on this batch to produce a slightly deeper orange hue and the culture has produced a touch more acidity and citrus.
