Rock Art Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout Coming Soon

Rock-Art-Bourbon-Barrel-Russian-Imperial-StoutIt’s getting chilly in the Northeast – that means more barrel-aged beer, right? Vermont’s Rock Art Brewery is bottling and labeling their Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout today for release later this week.

The details:

  • Bottles will be available at the brewery and in local Vermont stores
  • Approx 300 cases produced
  • $10 per 22oz bottle at the brewery, expected retail price is $12
  • No bottle limit at the brewery

Commercial description:

Russian Imperial Stout, thick, juicy, big, bold all wrapped together in a dark beer. To age this, we found some beautiful bourbon barrels freshly emptied from the distillery. During aging the ale will blend with the flavors from the oak barrel and bourbon. When the flavors reach perfection, we capture it into bottles and kegs. Look for subtle hints of classic barrel aged flavors such as sherry, vanilla, toffee and of course bourbon aromas. 10% ABV.

Rock Art Brewery is located at 632 Laporte Rd. in Morrisville. Check them out here.
