jester-king-la-vie-en-roseTwo new beers are rolling out of Jester King in Austin this Friday, January 31, featuring La Vie En Rose and Ambrée. Sales begin when the tasting room opens at 5pm, and you might want to get there on time if you hope to snag bottles of the former.

La Vie En Rose is a farmhouse ale refermented with raspberries, along with Jester King’s house blend of yeasts and souring bacteria, coming in at 6.2% ABV. Their farmhouse amber ale, Ambrée was also fermented with Brett and souring bacteria, finishing at 6.4% ABV.

The details:

  • La Vie En Rose – $14 per 750mL bottle, limit 1 per person, 200 bottles available
  • Ambrée – $12 per 750mL bottle, no limit

While the initial run of their new raspberry wild ale is quite small, Batch 2 is a mere “3 or 4 weeks away” and is expected to be larger. Ambrée should remain available in the tasting room for “at least a few weekends,” with Batch 2 expected sometime in the summer or fall.

Jester King Brewery is located at 13005 Fitzhugh Rd., Bldg. B in Austin.
