Side Project Saison de Rouge Release Mar. 12

Side Project Saison de RougeCory King announced the next highly anticipated bottle from his Side Project Brewing project on social media today, as Saison de Rouge will be unveiled on Wednesday, March 12 at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room. For his latest brewing feat, King fermented a red saison in Chambourcin barrels for 5 months with Brett, then dry-hopped the beer with Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra. If this sounds vaguely familiar, know that Saison de Rouge was one of the beers utilized in the blend for the first Pulling Nails release.

The details:

  • Bottle sales begin when the tasting room opens at 4pm
  • 750mL bottles and draft will be available
  • Price and limit TBD UPDATE 3/11: $17 per 750mL bottle, limit 4 per person

Other upcoming Side Project releases include a single barrel bottling of Saison de Fermier as well as Black & Wild, a black wild ale fermented on Balaton cherries and aged in rye whiskey barrels.
