De Garde 1st Anniversary Bottle Sales for May 3

De Garde BrewingHeaded out to De Garde’s 1st anniversary party today? The bottle list is insane, featuring just about every wild beer you can think of from this upstart Oregon brewery. Here’s the deal. Bottles will be $10 for Berliner Weisse’s and $14 for others with a limit of 1 per person until everyone’s had a chance to score. Afterward, repeat purchases will be allowed and kegs will rotate throughout the afternoon. Enjoy!

    They switched up one of the Keepers beers – and gave us the Imperial Plum Bu Weisse instead of the Imperial Vin Bu: Chenin Blanc. On a thread on BA Trevor said, “We switched out the Chenin Bu for the Plum at the last minute since we werent 100% happy with the conditioning process on the Chenin. We won’t sell/give beer that we arent happy with. We hope everyone understands.”

    Also available on Saturday was Brun Marron, which was released a couple of weeks ago.

    One other small thing. This release (like the last Keeper’s release) was at the De Garde Brewery — out at 6000 Blimp in Tillamook, not at the tasting room on 2nd Street.
