Kuhnhenn National Mead Day Release Aug 2

Kuhnhenn Brewing CoIs your calendar already marked for National Mead Day? Kuhnhenn Brewing is unleashing a tidal wave of delectable meads for the occasion, including a spin on everyone’s most wanted: Bourbon Barrel French Toast. The fun kicks off at the brewery on Saturday, August 2 at 11am.

The meads:

1- Foosball is the Devil, Bobby. Bochet. This is sunflower honey that has been caramelized. Big caramel flavors with marshmallow overtones. 16% ABV, $22, limit 3

2- Schuster’s Rhubarb. Strawberry Rhubarb Melomel. It is fairly sweet with a beautifully balanced fruit profile. The finish has a bright acidity. 12% ABV, $18, limit 1

3- Semi-sweet Black Mead. This is a black currant mead. It is intensely flavored and scented. There is a lingering tannin on the finish. 12% ABV, $18, limit 1

4- Blackberry Melomel. Blackberries and Orange Blossom honey combine to make a fruit forward mead that is not overly sweet. Pleasant and refreshing. 12% ABV, $18, limit 1

5- Coconut Bochet. This is caramelized sunflower honey that was fermented in a Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel. Then it was blended with roasted and toasted coconut and coconut milk. Simply Amazing!! 14% ABV, $25, limit 1

6- B4FT. Bourbon Barrel Banana Bochet French Toast. Frank set the amps at 11! Our famous BBFT kicked up with Bochet. KILLER! 14%, $25, limit 3

7- Blueberries and Crème. This is made with Orange Blossom Honey and Maine Wild Blueberry Juice with Michigan Blueberry Puree. Then come the Madagascar Vanilla Beans. Sparkling and delicious! 10% ABV, DRAFT ONLY
