This imperial stout is accented with blackstrap molasses, vanilla beans, cherry bark, and brewer’s licorice straight from Italy. The heart and soul of our Reserve Series, The Abyss is partially aged for six months in barrels that once housed Bourbon, Oregon Oak, and Pinot Noir. It is as profound, infinite, and unfathomable as its name suggests. 12.6% ABV

The annual Block 15 Late Fall bottle release is back! On the docket for 2015 will be Figgy Pudding, Framboise White, and Imagine. The reservation lottery period for brunch reservations at Block 15 Restaurant and Les Caves is open now – get crackin!
For those of you looking to skip brunch (or miss out on reservations), the brewery will hold a public on sale at the taproom on Saturday, November 14 at 11am.

Figgy Pudding – Our holiday offering brewed with English pale & specialty malts, white & black figs, and black strap molasses. Matured in freshly emptied brandy barrels and gently spiced with ceylon cinnamon and allspice. 10.5% ABV
Framboise White – Inspired by the unique character of local golden raspberries, this Belgian style white ale was aged in French Oak barrels with our whimsical blend of brettanomyces, acid-producing bacteria, and organic berries, producing a tart, complex beer. 8% ABV
Imagine – Belgian style stout ale, matured in bourbon barrels. 14% ABV

Block 15 Sticky Hands is now in cans! Expect to see their flagship double IPA dropping in 16oz cans at the taproom on Saturday, October 3 with availability at both locations on Sunday, October 4.

Moving forward, the brewery expects to release fresh cans of Sticky Hands “approximately every other week.”
This Hop Experience Ale features ample additions of sticky, resinous, lupulin packed hop buds grown in the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy a hop decrescendo that begins with an aromatic blast of tropical fruits, citrus and dank herbs; transitions into luscious hop flavor; and ends with a balanced bitter finish, gently propped up by pale malted barley and fermented with our privately banked Brewers yeast. 8.1% ABV

Portland’s own Breakside Brewery has a brand spankin’ new limited release ready for the West this week, with Bon Vivant shipping to retailers now. This is a dry-hopped Belgian Golden Ale aged in Pinot Noir barrels, coming in at 8.4% ABV.
Expect to find Bon Vivant at select locations in Oregon, Washington and Colorado for a suggested retail price of $13 per 22oz bottle. A limited amount of draft will also be available at the brewery’s taproom and brewpub.
In time for fall, we present Bon Vivant, a beer that celebrates two of Oregon’s great autumn crops: hops and grapes. We filled old Pinot Noir barrels from Archery Summit Winery with a hoppy Belgian golden ale and aged it for six months. The barrels contribute notes of light cherry, acidity, oak, and cola; mean- while the hops are Comet and Amarillo, varietals prized for their pungency and fruitiness. Together they harmonize beautifully with the yeast and malt character of the base beer.

A little something special coming out of the Pacific Northwest this week, as Portland’s own Gigantic Brewing Company is slated to drop Brain Damage on Thursday, September 3 at 3pm. This is a Belgian-style Quad aged in bourbon and pinot barrels, featuring exclusive label art designed by Austrian urban artist, Nychos.

What began as a Belgian-Style Quadruple was aged in bourbon and pinot noir barrels for over 2 years. The resulting liquid is lusciously rich, with caramelized sugar, bready and biscuit malt, subtle cherry, vanilla and oak – some might say resembling port. 13% ABV

Peach Bu; Our Berliner inspired ale, fermented and aged in oak barrels with massive amounts of Oregon Peaches.

Saison Cinquieme; A wild farmhouse inspired ale, fermented and aged in Chardonnay barrels, then dry hopped with Amarillo.

Yesssss – Hair of the Dog Adam from the Wood is back for 2015, including a brand new variant! Joining the original bourbon barrel-aged treatment will be a rye whiskey version, both hitting the brewpub in bottles on Saturday, June 6 at 10am.

Adam From The Wood is our Adam aged in American Oak barrels. First released in 2000, and released again in November 2011 in 12oz bottles. This 12% beer has lots of the typical HOTD aromas: Caramel, brown sugar, tons of raisin and tobacco. Fig, date, and plum fruitiness in that order. This has a fairly strong earthy vinousness as well as oak vanilla. 12% ABV
