Side Project Bière du Pays & Bretta Sang Release Dec. 19

A fresh pair of bottles are dropping from Side Project Brewing this weekend, featuring a new batch of Bière du Pays and the debut of Bretta Sang. The fun will go down at noon on Saturday, December 19 in the Perennial tasting room.

Bottles of Bière du Pays will retail for $20, with Bretta Sang going for $25. Similar to other Side Project releases, bottle limits will be determined based on turnout.

Bière du Pays is a table saison aged in Chardonnay bottles with Oude Fermier cultures, coming in at a mild 4% ABV. Bretta Sang was aged in puncheons for 10 months, using mixed-fermentation with sweet orange peel and blood orange juice.

Side Project Saison du Blé Blend 4 Release Today

Side-Project-Saison-du-BleA fresh batch of Side Project Saison du Blé is ready to go today! Blend 4 will be available at Side Project Cellar this afternoon, and is expected to “last a week or two.”

The details:

  • $20 per 750mL bottle
  • Limit 2 per person, per day

Commercial description:

Saison du Blé is the harmony of a fluffy Wheat Saison and a traditional, rustic Saison with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. The wheat balances a very dry body with a creamy, billowy mouthfeel, and our house Saison yeast adds complexity and acidity. This farmhouse ale was aged in Chardonnay barrels for several months. 6% ABV

Side Project Abricot du Fermier Blend #2 Release Oct. 2

side-project-abricot-du-fermierAlmost exactly one year since the original batch, Side Project Abricot du Fermier Blend #2 is slated to launch at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room on Friday, October 2 at 4pm. This wild ale with apricots has spent 13 months in oak barrels and an additional 2 months in the bottle, weighing in at 8% ABV.

Similar to other Side Project releases, bottle limits will be determined based on turnout.

Commercial description:

Abricot du Fermier is our delicate, bright, aromatic Saison du Fermier in which we aged in French Oak wine barrels with apricots. The brightness, depth and rustic character are created by the wild yeast native to our family’s Missouri farm. This Apricot Saison was fermented in and aged in wine barrels for several months. 8% ABV

Side Project Marietta Ave. Release Sept. 2

side-project-marietta-aveThis one sounds so refreshing I can almost taste the farmhouse funk from here. Side Project Marietta Ave. is next on the docket for the St. Louis brewery, releasing at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room on Wednesday, September 2 at 4pm.

Similar to other Side Project releases, bottle limits will be determined based on turnout.

Commercial description:

Marietta Ave. is our Farmhouse Pale Ale that was fermented in and aged in French Oak Puncheons with Belgian Saison yeast and a blend of soft Brettanomyces strains. It was brewed with floral and citrusy American hops and naturally conditioned in this bottle for several months. 6% ABV

Side Project Punchdown Bottle Release Today

Side Project Brewing

Side Project Brewing has another bottle dropping today, hitting the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room at 4pm. Punchdown is an American Wild Ale aged in oak barrels with Chambourcin grapes. Enjoy!

Side Project x De Garde Orviamo Bottle Release Today

Side Project BrewingSide Project Brewing is setting off Memorial Day Weekend with a bang today, dropping their new collaboration with De Garde in the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room at 4pm. Orviamo is a wild ale with microflora from both breweries, Oregon raspberries and plums, then aged in a combination of wine, whiskey and port barrels.
