Side Project Le Fosse Release Mar. 25

Side-Project-Le-FosseMore sexy label art for your dome from Side Project Brewing. Le Fosse is bottled up and ready to rock on Wednesday, March 25 at 4pm in the Perennial tasting room. This is a Missouri wild ale aged in oak barrels with apricots, weighing in at 7% ABV.

Similar to other Side Project releases, price is TBA and limits will be determined based on turnout. Word is bottles will also be available for on-site consumption in the Side Project Cellar. Stay tuned.

Side Project x Off Color Biere de Fantaisie Release Feb. 21

Side-Project-Off-Color-Biere-de-FantaisieSt. Louis and Chicago are joining forces this weekend, with Side Project and Off Color teaming up to unleash Biere de Fantaisie on Saturday, February 21 at noon. This is a barrel-fermented, blended saison, finishing up at 7% ABV.

Similar to other Side Project releases, this will be held at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room. Bottle limits are determined based on turnout and pricing is TBA.

Commercial description:

La Biere de Fantasie is a collaboration brewed with our friends at Off Color Brewing in Chicago. Our shared love of the farmhouse ales of Belgium and France was the inspiration for this Saison, which is a blend of several puncheon-fermented Saisons that were aged for 6 months before being naturally conditioned in this bottle.

Side Project Thicket Bottle Release Jan. 23

Side-Project-ThicketLovely! Another Side Project Brewing bottle will be unleashed upon the thirsty craft beer herds on Friday, January 23 at 4pm in the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room. Thicket is a wild Missouri ale aged in oak barrels with blackberries, finishing at 6% ABV.

Side Project x 2nd Shift Collaboration Bottle Release Dec. 20

Side Project BrewingSome more action is going down at the Perennial tasting room this weekend, featuring the new collaboration between Side Project and 2nd Shift Brewing. Both bottles will be on sale – Lattice, a dry-hopped farmhouse pale ale and PARKAS, a Brett beer fermented and aged in oak barrels.

Side Project Abricot du Fermier & Peche du Fermier Bottle Release Oct. 4

Side Project Saison du FermierThere they are, folks – straight from Side Project Brewing. Abricot du Fermier and Peche du Fermier are both slated to drop today, October 4 at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room when doors open at noon. Each of these are a fruited spin on their outstanding Chardonnay barrel-fermented saison, one with apricots and another packed with peaches, respectively. Expect a line as per usual.

Side Project Saison du Fermier Batch 2 Release June 7

Side-Project-Saison-du-FermierHeads up! It’s that time again. Side Project is dropping the 2nd batch of Saison du Fermier at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room on Saturday, June 7 at 12pm. Yes, you might have heard there was (or was not) a locals release for this beer already this week, but the proper fiasco is going down this weekend. Get your farmhouse on.

  • $20 per 750mL bottle
  • Limit will be determined based on turnout in the morning

Commercial description:

Saison du Fermier is a Chardonnay barrel-fermented Saison. It is the harmony of new and old. It is robust and has the paler color of modern Saisons, yet it is balanced with the brightness, depth and rustic character of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus found in traditional Saisons. This farmhouse ale was fermented in and aged in wine barrels for several months. 7% ABV

Side Project Fuzzy Bottles Debut Apr. 19

Side Project FuzzyOh baby, my mouth is watering just looking at this one. Side Project Brewing is ready to unleash their latest bottle, Fuzzy on Saturday, April 19 at the Perennial Artisan Ales tasting room in St. Louis. This is a Chardonnay barrel-aged American wild ale with local white peaches, coming in at 8% ABV.

The details:

  • $15 per 375mL bottle
  • Bottle limit will most likely be set the morning of the release based on turnout
  • Draft pours will be available beginning at 2:30pm in the Perennial tasting room

For those keeping score at home, Fuzzy already created a stir at last year’s Festival of Barrel-Aged Beer in Chicago, with the excitement swiftly picking up the moment this label surfaced online. This is also the first Side Project release in 375mL bottles instead of the usual 750mL size.
