Perennial Barrel-Aged Abraxas Reservations and Lottery Begin Soon

Perennial Barrel Aged AbraxasBarrel-Aged Abraxas. You’re already salivating. The details for Perennial’s most sought-after beer finally dropped today on STL Hops, and it looks like this will be run with the one-two punch of early reservations (for locals) and a lottery (unleash the proxies), similar to the BA17 and BA Sump releases from earlier this year.

Local reservations will begin on Friday, May 23 at 6pm at Perennial. For you out-of-towners, the BA Abraxas online lottery kicks off on Thursday, May 29th at 12AM and will be wrapped up on Monday, June 2nd at 12AM. Draft will be available on June 6 and 7 in the tasting room.

Early reservation details:

  • 400 reservations will be available
  • Limit 2 bottles per reservation
  • $30 per 750mL bottle
  • Bottle sharing is permitted on the Perennial patio but needs to end by 4pm

  • Friday, June 6th 4:00-10:00PM
  • Saturday, June 7th Noon-11:00PM
  • Wednesday, June 11 4:00-10:00PM
  • Thursday, June 12th 4:00-10:00PM
  • Friday, June 13th 4:00-11:00PM
  • Saturday, June 14th Noon-11:00PM

Lottery details:

  • A link for the lotto will be posted on the Perennial site on Thursday, May 29th at 12AM
  • 1 entry per person, duplicates will be discarded
  • Winners will be notified by email on Monday, June 2nd
  • Limit 1 bottle per winner
  • $30 per 750mL bottle
  • Photocopy or mobile photo of winner’s ID required for proxy pickups

Commercial description:

An Imperial Stout aged for twelve months in Rittenhouse Rye barrels and brewed with ancho chili peppers, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and cinnamon sticks. Pouring deep brown with a thick head, this beer has a complex body with a delicious lingering roastiness. Abraxas is brewed with unique ingredients intended to challenge and excite the palate. It may be enjoyed right away or allowed to age in the bottle. Vertical tastings are encouraged. Perennial Artisan Ales is a small batch craft brewery dedicated to producing unique, premium beers. Our beers are brewed with the experimental, seasoned craft beer drinker in mind. 11% ABV
